About Us

Since its inception, Bhagvad Go Shala has been committed to safeguarding India’s native cow breeds, ensuring their health, shelter, and holistic well-being. With a vision to combine tradition and responsibility, we provide state-of-the-art facilities for sustainable cattle management, while keeping our ethos rooted in compassion and culture.

At Bhagwat Go Seva Sanstha, founded by Shri Akash Bhangale, we embrace the ancient Vedic tradition of Go Seva — serving and protecting the sacred cow, revered as “गायत्री स्वरूपा” and “माता” in Sanatan Dharma.

Cows have been the symbol of nourishment, patience, and divinity since time immemorial. They are described as “कामधेनु” — fulfilling not just material needs, but also carrying deep spiritual significance in our scriptures.

Our Seva

At our Goshala, we lovingly care for:

185 Cows & 15 Bulls, many of whom were abandoned or are in need of medical attention.

Every cow is treated with devotion, as an embodiment of Lakshmi Devi and Dharma.

The environment is peaceful, sattvic, and guided by the principle – “गावो विश्वस्य मातरः”

Our Ethos

Non-Commercial Seva

This is a non-commercial seva, purely out of spiritual responsibility and dharma.

Self-Funded

We are self-funded and accept no government grants.

CSR Go Seva

The Goshala is run under our CSR initiative, with one single intention: to uphold the Sanatan tradition of Go Seva.

Spiritual Significance of Go Seva

Divine Blessings

Serving cows is said to wash away sins and bring divine blessings (पुण्य).

Krishna’s Words

In the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna declared: “गावः सर्वसुखप्रदा” — cows bestow all forms of happiness.

Seva, Not Charity

Go Seva is not charity; it is Seva — an offering to the Divine, an act of gratitude towards Gau Mata.

At Bhagwat Go Seva Sanstha, every cow is a mother, every service is worship, and every breath in the Goshala is filled with divinity.
